Did Complete sell stuffed animal creature from the black lagoon when it came out???

I have this stuffed animal my dad got at a garage sale that looks completely like the Creature from the Black Lagoon except its blue not conservational. Is this a homemade business or was it made by Complete Studios. It looks like it was professionally made but I can't find anything about a line of stuffed animals made for the movies. I need to know!!

considering the movie came out in the 50's, I mediate, if the toy is in really excellent affect up, I'd say it likely isn't from the time the movie came out... Also, the movie and its sequel were in black and colorless :) It's doable it is an 80's toy, as movie monsters made a comeback nearly that time.
