Any notes thoughts for a stuffed bunny?

I want to make a stuffed rabbit, but I don't really know what notes is best.

I plot to use a darning machine and I'm with a bit of luck building the toy less than a foot in height.

I'd like it to be soft, of way! I'd also like the bunny to feel kind of floppy - not stiff like a lot of plushies and whatnot I've seen. I'm not sure if this depends on the type of notes or not, even if.

What I'm really asking is if you know what notes is simplest to sew with, but is subdue nice and soft for a stuffed animal.

I'm a perfect newbie when it comes to both darning and Yahoo!, so please forgive me if I mess up. :)

Fake fur, velvet, or velveteen will make for the most cuddly toy. The end is doubtless the simplest, just make sure it's not a stretch. Felt would be simplest, but may not give the softness you're looking for.
The squishiness of your bunny will depend on how much you stuff it and what you stuff it with. The more you place in, the firmer it will be. For something you can cuddle, I'd just use fiberfill or batting. It's that stuff that comes in a huge bag and looks like a cloud.
Test your machine on a crumb of fabric to make sure your tension is aptly--if you get loops or it scrunches adjust it at the top (by no means adjust your coil tension).
