When cleaning up, must kids be allowed to place their toys in no matter what toy bins they want to?
Our 2 year ancient has his own room. My wife and I are arguing about this....Must he be allowed to place his toys in no matter what toy bin he desires to as long as it is in his toy bins ( All the toys diverse up), when we tell him it's time to sterile up his room? Or must we the parents, have places for his toys to stay organized? Stuffed animals in this bin, legos in that bin, huge cars on the underside ridge, etc.
Being only two you must try not to expect too much from him but if you want to lecture him excellent organizing habits try pastine cinema on the bins of what you expect to be in there and play a game to promote him. Say ok Tommy this is a lego can you find the bin with a lego on it. Or no matter what the toy may be. Don't get frustrated if he doesn't do it just keep encouraging him. And praise him on the toys that made it in the right bins.
