How do I dip stuffed animals in wax? Can I use candle wax? If not, where do I buy wax for it? How much $?

I am inane to do this for Christmas..Will it be high-priced?

You have to use tower of strength or votive wax to make wax bowl-shaped stuffed animals. You melt your wax in a presto cooker or a double boiler. Use a candy thermometer to gauge your temp. Get the wax heated to 170 degrees. With it is heated add your scent I always add superfluous since its inane to be background and not heated. For candles I place 1oz. per lb. so for the bears I would double the scent. Stir the wax for 2 minutes to make sure scent is diverse with the wax. You will need a pick to pick the fur with you dip so it won't be flat. With your wax and scent is diverse its time to dip your critter. I also use a cookie rack to drain the surplus wax. Dip your critter then squeeze surplus out then with a small I dip a following time just to make sure it was fully bowl-shaped. With you squeeze surplus out set it on the rack and initiation alternative the hair so it won't be flat. You want it to be fluffy. Its best to house the rack over the pot so that any that drips will go into the pot. With you have elected its fur leave it to cool and harden. With it is cool enhance it any way you wish. I have a friend who does these you can check out her web site at http://limb.merchantcircle.com/candlestickfarm Hers are gorgeous. You can buy wax kits at AC Moore, Joanns, Michaels and Leisure activity lobby. Or you can just buy wax.
