Where can I find darning patterns of plushies/stuffed animals?

I've been obsessed lately with Lolita and was training on wearing several Lolita fashion next year at the community anime conventions. Now, clothing darning patterns are not hard to find, but plushie darning patterns aren't sold in many craft stores or Wal-Mart. My question is where can I find darning patterns to make my own Lolita animal font?

On Etsy!

Is crocheting stuffed animals hard, and where does one find patterns online?

Also are the equipment high-priced? I've by no means tried crocheting before to.
I'd like to do something like these:
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://madeyoulook.erase-her.net/wp-make pleased/uploads/2008/02/frankie.jpg&imgrefurl=http://madeyoulook.erase-her.net/2008/02/27/the-tiny-sock-monkey/&usg=__rE9PrYJ0yRErfRvu3WZr-Ze9rWs=&h=300&w=400&sz=30&hl=en&initiation=166&um=1&tbnid=azoM6rCRw9oVmM:&tbnh=93&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcrochet%2Banimals%26ndsp%3D18%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26start%3D162%26um%3D1

but they are doubtless too tiny for a beginner.

Crochet is fun and simple once you get the hang of a few basics and crochet equipment are not high-priced at all. All you need is yarn, nail clippers, and a crochet hook. You may need a stitch marker, but you can use an earring or crumb of yarn as a substitution for.

The tiny sock monkey would be hard for a beginner, but once you've done a couple bits and pieces, you force be able to. It uses thread as a substitution for of yarn.

There are a lot of splendid sites for free crochet patterns (like http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/animals.php) and you can ordinarily buy low-cost ones from yarn companionship websites and etsy.com
Crochet patterns may look like an alien language at initially, but all you really need is this to help you work out them:
http://tinyurl.com/TermGuide (you don't use all of these in most patterns, frequently just [], (), ch, sc, sk, dc2tog, and inc, maybe sl st)

Here are a couple videos for the basics:

And here's a 35 page guide to crochet (in the end a free book):

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?board=354.0 is also a excellent house to go for cute thoughts, tutorials, and crochet patterns.

Amigurumi is a very ordinary and honestly simple crochet technique for building stuffed animals and additional toys. http://www.youtube.com/mind?v=yYiCdkhxAVA is a excellent video for the vital amigurumi affect.

Don't be dejected when you see the vast amount on stitch names, you really only need to know string, single crochet, and maybe double crochet when building stuffed toys.

Cute stuffed animal darning try out?

I want to make a cute stuffed animal for my friend.
I dont have felt, but I have rolls of fabric and a darning machine.
I would also like it to be mildly simple to make

thanks~!

This is super cute. I am building one for my daughter. I am darning by hand because I don't have a machine. It's really simple. It does call for some pieces of felt, but I'm sure you may maybe improvise.

What fabric must i use to make a stuffed animal?

i have to make a mole for my school project, but i want to use a fabric besides felt. any thoughts? and the fabric has to be available in regular craft stores cuz i don't have time to order fabric online. thanks for any help =)

Michaels, generally does not carry yard goods. Try your community JoAnn Fabrics, Leisure activity Lobby, or Hancock Fabrics. This time of year you will find lots of furry stuff-look in the costume fabric section as well as the felt aisle. You may find a no-wale corduroy (that earnings no affect in it) or suede-y type fabric that would also work. If not there is felt to use as well.
Excellent Luck

Where can I get excellent chew toys for a bull mastiff?

and a JRT and a Boston Terrier...

They LOVE stuffed animals. More so than anything else I ever buy them.

BUT... they have the stuffing all over the stump surrounded by 10 minutes of getting them.

Where can I get some lasting stuff toys?

You can get these rubber bones from most pet stores. I not remember the name of them. They have holes owing to each end of the bone so you can stuff peanut butter or a treat (or not anything if you like). They're are effectively non-breakable!! my labradoodle plays with his all the time. He's had it for well over a year and when it's sterile it looks new! it's idiotic! The rubber won't hurt your dog at all. You can get tiny ones for small dogs and giant bones for huge dogs! A worthwhile buy! Kong!! that's what it's called!!!!
