Bacteria in a cats mouth? ?

I keep seeing someone posting answers that cats mouths are the dirtiest ever and a lot of other stuff. I thought cats had some kind of bacteria that was good, not horrid? :/
or that's what i've always been told by everyone.
I mean of course there's going to be bad bacteria obv, like every animal including us, but is it really that bad?

Note: don't tell me that it can be bad if they bite, i know it can, but so can any other animals bite.
Melissa, thats what i though,
I wish people would stop saying its the worlds dirtiest thing to people and making it sound like a fact >.<

The bacteria serves a purpose. Cats are austere carnivores and that diet can potentially initiate some deadly bacteria into their bodies. Cats also have very fleeting digestive systems, so the breakdown of food starts at the mouth, thus a very potent saliva. The specialized bacteria in a cats mouth is not 'dirty' for them, and is excellent in aiding them to administer additional bacteria that may be eaten.

Do zoologists protect animals?

I am thinking of inane into Zoology as a major, but I am not completely sure what they do. I know they abide by animals, collect data, bestow their data, and stuff like that. What do they do a propos animal rights? Like, zoologists learn cures for animal diseases and find ways to make their lives best? Or is that only for the broadcast in PETA and additional groups?

broadcast in "animal rights" groups do not do anything to help save animals.

zoologists, or any additional animal scientist for that theme, mediate in and uphold animal WELFARE; they make sure animals under their care have genteel shelter, food, and are looked with.

Stupid question but I had to question it lol?

Let's just say that there a manufactured goods that eliminate all the microorganisms and viruses doable on everything counting humans and animals, this manufactured goods may maybe go into the air and purify it at a 100%, sterile anything to the point where you may maybe eat some food that was dropped on the street. This manufactured goods would be able to infiltrate any equipment and eliminate the bacterias. What if there was ample of this manufactured goods to sterile up the WHOLE earth, the human beings, animals and all the income equipment owing to the air in a single shot, do you reflect that microorganisms, viruses, pollutants and additional stuff that are terrible for all or business income in here would be eliminated to the point where they were part of description or with a while they will come back?

Dumpling is partially right, when using sparys and disinfectants we are just making stronger viruses, even if that can only take house if even 1 tiny viruses survives. the question is a hypotheical, so if you may maybe really kill them ALL and not leave a single one active (if you can say a virus is active) then there would be no more disease

HOWEVER, we would all die without bacteria, (viruses, we dont need) bacteria decay dead organic theme, without them we would be up to our eyeballs in carcasses. bacteria also allow many organisms to survive, by choice them digest food, or making nessesary enzymes for life.

Perilous toys sold in the US have caused 19 deaths in 2009 according to a crash by US Broadcast Interest Research Groups (PIRGs). Main risk caused by retract toys published by the European Protection Fee in 2008 are:

  • Injuries - 20%
  • Compound - 19%
  • Choking - 16%
  • Gripping Shock - 15%
  • Fire - 10%
  • Additional - 20%

With this marker in mind, one wonders what type of toys would be safe for kids? How do you check if the toy is safe?

Protection Measures

To decrease such risks, when shopping for toys parents must initially become informed consumers and readers of marks. Consumer Web sites and package cataloging potential the manufacturer's recommendations and additional vital in rank. Instructions must be clear and simple to stay on. No theme how much the parent may want the toy for it's baby boy or baby girl, brilliant only those that suit the they early age, abilities, skills. Toys that are too advanced may pose protection hazards to newborn outcome.

If you do not restrict physically to buying toys only recommended for baby's age as confirmed on the toy box you must keep an eye on your baby while he is before a live audience in case he may chew or bite on the toys. The best option is to try and pull out the tiny parts from the toy(s) to make such that it will not fall off and to check it wisely before to charitable it to your baby. Not anything is more arresting to family tree than toys with bright colorings. But parents must beware. Brightly painted toys can pose a perilous health risk to family tree from lead-based paint. So far in 2008, the CSPC has ordered the confiscation of 45 types of toys from store shelves in the U.S. due to high lead counts. In 2007, furnish ordered the confiscation of 97 types of toys.

Family tree are frequently unnatural by lead poisoning because of their habits of putting equipment into their mouths. Sorry to say, family tree's systems easily absorb lead. Lead poisoning can cause long-term mental and corporal harms, and in some cases death. Family tree activity books, especially for this early ages, must be considered and testes as toys. They pose a risk of choking because the metal spine can be pulled off by a outcome. The spine and stickers can be swallowed, as they fit into the tiny parts cylinder. Also there is a risk of cuts because the unrestricted spine has sharps points that can cut the skin.

Tiny objects that babies can swallow, such as marbles, beads, balloons, tiny balls, many game pieces, barrettes and Lego blocks are also perilous. They can become blocked in your outcome's windpipe, ears or nose and completely check their airway. To test the protection of a toy, invest in a truncated cylinder, which is a clear fake tube that is available at many stores and allows objects to pass owing to it that are too tiny to be given to a outcome under three. Or, you can even use a toilet paper tube. Make sure that stuffed animals are washable (so they won't become a breeding impose a curfew for microorganisms) and that they don't have easily removable parts, such as eyes or nose. These parts may maybe become dislodged and find their way easily into baby's mouth. Also, check squeeze toys and make sure they don't potential a squeaker that will detach, posing a choking hazard.

Generally, dodge toys with batteries or even of poorer quality mains operated toys/appliances for babys due to a digit of reason. Firstly batteries tend to leak and we know baby's like to suck on equipment. Secondly Baby's may maybe all initiation a 'hire-a-huby' affair. Thirdly mains operated toys or appliances come with cords, which can be a strangulation risk as earlier mentioned. If you really can't get nearly using equipment like baby monitors or night lamps, than please make sure that the cables are secured and out if get to. It pays to check on that frequently as older siblings tend to be fascinated with those too. Before to you know it cables are in the open again.

Toy Protection Standards

As well as building sure your toys are safe, one of the equipment you can do is to check if the toy producer grant manufactured goods liability indemnity in case something does ever take house. The three sets of toys standards are:

  • International Ordinary ISO 8124 customary by the International Organisation for Standardisation (supplemented by IEC 62115 for gripping toys customary by International Electrotechnical Fee);
  • European Ordinary EN 71 Series and EN 62115 ordinary for gripping toys as individual in BS EN 71 and BS EN 62115; and
  • ASTM F963-08 customary by the American The high classes for Testing & Equipment.

The Underside Line

Finally, remember that toy protection, doesn't end when you leave the store. Stay on these advises to make sure your newborn stay safe from the following he receive a toy to the day he is ready to give it up. Always remember that the supervision is the most vital protection factor that you can grant to protect a outcome from harm.

Dread Factor Show: are those worms, spider and additional yukky stuff treated or sterile?

In the FEAR FACTOR show they make the contestants eat, chew etc all that yukky stuff , rotten eggs, eye balls etc ...

they make spiders, snakes , worms crawl on their bodies.

Are those animals treated and sterile ? or they are just raw , the ones we will find in jungless ?

and also are those eggs, rotten stuff, treated ?

Since they place protection gears on when the acting aerial tricks, is it doable that the eaten stuff is also safe and sterile for microorganisms / bites etc ?

From NBC site:

Q)When you use live animals such as rats and snakes on the show, how do you make sure they are not hurt or ill-treated?

A)Dread Factor always hires professional animal handlers that raise and take care of the animals. These are the same handlers that work many major TV and movie productions. When animals are caught up in a stunt, the handlers are bestow on set at all era. They also urge producers on how to kindly and safely interact with the animals.

From USA Now:

Physicians painstakingly screen contestants, for heart circumstances to allergies, before to they are allowed on the show.

Also from USA Now:

"Most of the combined stuff that gets eaten is really a delicacy someplace in the world," says Matt Kunitz, the show's executive producer. "While many Americans may not eat cow insides, they are ordinary in Mexico and many Asian countries. Aptly here in L.A. you can go to a butcher shop and buy cow insides that are treated the same way as the steak you buy."

Cow insides perhaps, but what about the many additional animal parts, counting genitalia, which contestants must consume in order to enhancement?

"All of the combined aerial tricks that involve foods like spleens, reindeer testicles and deer penis – mediate it or not – all are USDA-certified for human employment," says Kunitz, whose show now facial appearance couples competing for $1 million. "We are not inane out and serving road kill. We take these bits and pieces from USDA-certified butcher shops."

Food aerial tricks require contestants grant their medical description on allergies – whether to peanut oil or shellfish or bees.

"We have to rely on broadcast to answer openly and to know what, if anything, they are allergic to," Kunitz notes. "We have had some insignificant reactions, and we've also learned that broadcast who are allergic to shellfish also are allergic to rats."

Also from USA TOday:

"When it comes to bugs, we do a lot of research," notes Kunitz, who produces several actuality shows, counting Dog Eat Dog. "Any bug consumed on the show is sent to our entomologists who then test the bug for toxicity. With many of the bugs, they can tell us aptly away, whether they're safe or are eaten elsewhere in the world."

Once a bug is approved by the scientists, Kunitz and his team test it – themselves.

"We pay someone in the office to test it," Kunitz admits. "And if they can do it and not get ill, then we do the stunt. Subdue, we have a lot of broadcast toss up but we don't show it – we have standards."

"If you mind the show, broadcast do toss up and get sick to their stomachs," says Jason Toth, medical boss of the Divine intervention Occupational Health Focal point and a medical consultant to Dread Factor since its inception. "That's not something we can predict or preclude really. But the food sources they're eating are not unsanitary and they don't cause illness."

In essence the bugs used on the show are quite sterile.

"The bugs come from laboratories," Kunitz says. "The rats are fed cornmeal, not trash. The Madagascar hissing cockroach is really one of the cleaner insects out there. It doesn't bite and isn't toxic. Even so, if with a food stunt any contestant says their stomach hurts, we go to the doctor just to be safe."

But while the food aerial tricks can cause a self to lose his or her dine, the corporal challenges make some contestants lose their nerve.
